Sometimes a great meal is great because of the cuisine. Sometimes it is the companions or the ambiance. This unlikely photo is of me having one of the meals I remember most fondly on a construction site as part of a volunteer trip to Mexico with a group called Esperanza. The food, cooked by the community, was simple but good. The ambiance may not look four star, but nothing quite works up your appetite like lifting a few tons of concrete.
